Pickups are usually at Antalya airport (AYT), with delivery to hotels in Lara, Konyaalti or the resorts. Turkey drives on the right. The motorways use HGS electronic tolls, charged to the driver through the rental. Side, Belek and Kemer are short hops; Olympos and the Taurus Mountains make good day trips, while Pamukkale is around three hours and Cappadocia a longer drive worth its own overnight.
What you need to rent
Bring a passport, a driving licence and a card for the deposit. Tourists drive on a national licence, and an International Driving Permit is recommended and sometimes asked for at pickup. The minimum age varies a little by partner and class.
